New Shared Ownership homes launched in Salisbury

Date Posted

We know that living in the countryside is becoming more and more popular. As demand for homes in these location continues to grow, we're excited to have just launched a collection of Shared Ownership homes at The Tidings, in the historic village of Old Sarum, Salisbury.

The first two and three bedroom homes are now available, prices starting from £117,250 based on a 35% share (other shares available)*. With house prices in these rural areas on the rise, Shared Ownership could provide a more affordable step onto the property ladder. Shared Ownership is a government-backed scheme, designed to make buying a home easier. You can choose the location and property that's right for you, then buy a percentage of your home, and pay a reduced rent on the rest*.

Set within the village of Old Sarum, these new homes will have easy access to green space. From wellie walks to history trails, you'll have plenty of choice for getting outdoors at the weekends. Avon Valley and Cokey Down Nature Reserves are both just three miles from The Tidings. And, closer to home, buyers at The Tidings will benefit from turfed back gardens, and a small play area ideal for families and summer entertaining.

Old Sarum is rich in history, best known for its Iron-Age hill fort dating back to 400 BC. Now, the area is home to a vibrant community. With a Co-op Food a six-minute walk away, Old Sarum Nursery and Primary School a nine-minute walk, and your new local The Winterbourne Arms a five-minute drive from The Tidings, you'll have excellent access to everyday essentials.
